A Week

This week has been really stressful for me. Nothing has changed, I have just felt a lot of stress. A lot of anxiety. A lot of pressure.

I think it remains from spending several weeks biting off more than I can chew at work, while also deciding to leave my job, while working a freelance project on the side. This series of events "ended" two weeks ago, but I still feel the effects.

I think I am over-caffeinated. So, I have decided to cut back. I am going to spend the next week without soda, tea, or caffeinated lattes. Hopefully this helps.

I also abandoned my schedule for a few weeks and I accumulated stress then, too. I followed my schedule more closely this week, and worked from my Trello board. I also managed to do a retrospective for myself last Sunday. All of this helped me feel more focused and accomplished this week — eliminating some stress.

Lastly, I have taken a bit of a break this weekend. I updated my resume, some personal websites, and some online profiles during the week. However, I decided not to start the job application process yet. I need a break. All I want to do is play Runescape — so I am doing that instead.

In fact, there is a pretty tough quest that I am working on right now. I am itching to get back to it.
